Junior driver Brett Ormsby posted five goals as UCLA (19-7) notched an 11-7 win over fourth-seeded California on Sunday afternoon. With the win, the Bruins claimed third-place in the MPSF Championships.

UCLA scored seven goals in the second half to post the win. Along with Ormsby, Josh Hewko posted two goals in the win. John Blanchette, Brad Greiner, Peter Belden and Ted Peck also scored for the Bruins.

Goalkeeper Joe Axelrad had six saves in the win, while allowing only seven goals.

Later in the day, USC defeated Stanford, 8-6 to win the Championship title and an automatic bid to the NCAA Final Four next weekend at Stanford.
