
UCLA Sweeps USC for the Kilgour Cup

The UCLA men's volleyball team defeated USC 3-0 in Pauley Pavilion to capture the 26th Annual Kilgour Cup title.
The Bruins (6-7, 3-6) won 30-20, 30-20, 30-26 in 80 minutes before 961 fans. USC fell to 3-10 overall, 1-8 in league play.
The victory gave the Bruins their 21st Kilgour Cup title and second straight. USC is 1-9 in Kilgour Cup matches.
Junior Chris Pena led the Bruins with 16 kills (.727), two block assists and an ace. Freshman Matt McKinney added a career high of 13 kills (.333) and two block assists.
The Bruins hit .416 and limited the Trojans to a percentage of .265.
Ian Gallagher led USC with 15 kills and three block assists and Derek Otte added nine kills, five digs, three total blocks and an ace.
After three road matches next week, the Bruins will return home Feb. 26 for a match against LaVerne in Pauley Pavilion.
