The seventh ranked UCLA men's volleyball team swept UC San Diego on the road Saturday night in an MPSF match.
The Bruins (11-8, 7-7) won 37-35, 30-22, 30-26. The Tritons fell to 3-14 overall, 0-13 in conference play. UCLA's victory over UCSD was its 36th straight in the series without a loss.
Juniors J.T. Wenger and Chris Pena led UCLA with 17 and 13 kills, respectively. Pena hit .524 to lead a UCLA attack that out-hit UCSD, .328-.250.
The Bruins return home Wed., Mar. 5 for a 7 p.m. non-conference match against Lewis in Pauley Pavilion.
