Lisa Willis Named UCLA/MET-Rx Student-Athlete Of The Week

Willis led all players in scoring in both games, averaging 20.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists and steals as UCLA swept the Washington schools. In the 78-58 win over Washington State, she totaled a career-high 22 points on 8-13 shooting from the field and 4-8 shooting from beyond the arc. Nineteen of her 22 points came in the second half, including nine in the first three minutes as the Bruins ran off 16 unanswered points to start the half. Willis also added three rebounds, two assist and four steals in 26 minutes of play.

In UCLA's 65-60 win over Washington, Willis scored 19 points on 6-12 shooting from the field. With UCLA leading just 62-60, she hit two free throws with seven seconds remaining to clinch the win. Willis also had six rebounds and three assists in 30 minutes of play.

This is Willis' first UCLA/MET-Rx Student-Athlete of the Week honor of the season and of her career.
