Monique Henderson Named UCLA/MET-Rx Student-Athlete of the Week

Henderson ran in three winning races and paced the Bruins to a 93-70 dual meet victory over USC on May 1. She started the day by anchoring UCLA's winning 4x100m relay (43.78, season-best mark, regional qualifying mark and the No. 6 mark in school history). She then won the 400m in a season-best, meet record and world-leading time of 51.20 (also a regional qualifying mark). Henderson ended the day winning the 200m in a personal-best time of 22.71 (regional qualifying mark, meet record). Her 200m time ranks No. 2 on the current college chart and No. 3 in school history.

This is Henderson's first UCLA/MET-Rx Student-Athlete of the Week honor of the season and second of her career.
