
Kara Lang Named UCLA/MET-Rx Student-Athlete of the Week

Freshman forward Kara Lang (Oakville, ON/St. Thomas Aquinas HS) of the UCLA Women's Soccer Team was selected as the UCLA/MET-Rx Student-Athlete of the Week (Nov. 7-13).
Lang scored two goals, including the game-winner, in a 4-0 victory over No. 4-seeded Marquette in the third round of the NCAA Championships on Saturday, helping the Bruins reach the quarterfinals for the third year in a row. Lang also had an assist in the match, giving her five points on the evening. She has scored two goals in all three of UCLA's NCAA Tournament matches, and with her assist on Friday, moved into a tie for first place on the team in scoring this season with 36 points (15g, 6a).
This is Lang's second UCLA/MET-Rx Student-Athlete of the Week honor of the season and of her career.
