
Dehaine Reaches Singles Final at So. Cal Intercollegiates

LOS ANGELES - UCLA sophomore Mathieu Dehaine won his semifinal singles match Saturday to advance to Sunday's final at the Southern California Intercollegiate Tennis Championships being held at the Los Angeles Tennis Club.
Dehaine, seeded fourth, defeated teammate Chris Surapol, 6-2, 6-2 in one semifinal, setting up a meeting with top-seeded Adam Holmstrom of Denver in the finals on Sunday. Holmstrom was a 6-4, 6-0 winner over UCLA sophomore Jeremy Drean in the other semifinal.
In doubles play, Dehaine and Aaron Yovan will meet top-seeded Holmstrom/Niklas Persson of Denver in Sunday's final.
