After a weekend stretch of four games at the Stanford Invitational, the UCLA women's water polo team remains undefeated with a 7-0 record. In Sunday's action, the Bruins beat No. 11 San Jose State and No. 2 USC in the tournament championship game. This is UCLA's first victory against defending champion USC since the 2003 season.
For the tournament, UCLA outscored its opponents 36-18. All four victories were against top 20 ranked schools, including wins over No.2 USC and No. 3 Stanford. Freshman Brittany Rowe was the leading scorer for UCLA over the four games with seven goals and junior Thalia Munro added six.
