
Steve Klosterman Named UCLA/MET-Rx Student-Athlete of the Week

Junior opposite Steve Klosterman (Long Beach, CA/Marina HS) of the UCLA Men's Volleyball team was selected as the UCLA/MET-Rx Student-Athlete of the Week (Apr. 10-16).
Klosterman led UCLA to its seventh and eighth consecutive victories this week, as the seventh-ranked Bruins defeated No. 8 UC Santa Barbara, 3-0, and No. 3 Cal State Northridge, 3-1. Klosterman recorded 12 kills (.360 attack percentage) with four digs, three total blocks and 14.5 points. Against Cal State Northridge on the road, he hammered a career-high 30 kills and scored a career-high 32 points. For the two games, he averaged 6.0 kpg with a .380 attack percentage, 0.86 bpg and 6.6 ppg, all above his season averages. During UCLA's eight-match winning streak, he is averaging 4.75 kpg and 1.0 bpg.
This is Klosterman's first UCLA/MET-Rx Student-Athlete of the Week honor of the season and of his career.
