Mike Landers Named UCLA/MET-Rx Student-Athlete of the Week

Junior pole vaulter Mike Landers (Merced, CA/Golden Valley HS) of the UCLA Men's Track & Field team was selected as the UCLA/MET-Rx Student-Athlete of the Week (June 5-11).

Landers jumped two lifetime-bests at the NCAA Championships, en route to his first All-America honor and UCLA's first for a pole vaulter since 2004. Landers placed third in the event with a clearance of 18-0.50, a mark that moves him into a tie for No. 5 all-time at UCLA.

This is Landers' first UCLA/MET-Rx Student-Athlete of the Week honor of the season and of his career.
