Top-ranked UCLA dropped another one-goal game to a Top 10 team at the adidas/IU Credit Union Classic, this time losing 1-0 to seventh-ranked Indiana in front of an IU record 7,243 fans.

A no-call led to the game's only goal. In the 75th minute, Hoosier forward Kevin Noschang collided with a UCLA defender just outside the top of the box. The referee signaled to play on, and Brian Ackley sent a ball into the box for Noschang, who got up and sprung free from the UCLA defense to beat Bruin goalkeeper Brian Perk with a shot into the far corner.

UCLA sent players forward to try to tie the game, and Chance Myers, who had the late-game heroics against Notre Dame, nearly struck again, but his header hit the crossbar at 83:54.

Indiana (1-0-1) outshot UCLA, 14-9, and forced Perk into making six saves, including a leaping stop of an Eric Alexander free kick at the top of the box in the 15th minute. Hoosier goalkeeper Chay Cain had four saves.

Myers and defender Brad Rusin were selected to the All-Tournament team.

UCLA's record drops to 0-2 to start the year, and the Bruins will face another challenge next week with a road match at Creighton on Saturday, Sept. 8.
