
Sprint Relay Team Places Second At Penn Relays

The sprint relay team of Jolanda Diego, Lindsay Rowe, Joy Eaton and Krishna Curry came from behind to win heat two of the sprint medley relay at the prestigious Penn Relays on Friday.
Eaton ran a 54.6 400m split on the third leg of the race and then handed off to Curry who came from 25 meters behind in the final lap to win the heat with her 800m split of 2:09.7. The Bruins placed second overall out of all heats.
Also on Friday, Rowe finished ninth in her heat and 25th overall in the high hurdles with a time of 14.50.
Competition continues on Saturday at the Penn Relays.
