Craddock & Patterson Run NCAA Qualifiers In Nebraska

Kevin Craddock and Marlon Patterson added their names to the list of Bruin qualifiers for the NCAA Indoor Championships on Saturday with impressive performances at the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational in Lincoln, NE.

Craddock, who had opened up his indoor season with a run of 7.81 in the prelims on Friday, ran 7.79 in the final, placing second overall. His time was an NCAA provisional mark and ranks fifth in the NCAA this season.

Patterson ran a provisional qualifier and lifetime-best of 4:03.07 in the mile to finish second overall. His time will rank amongst the top-15 in the NCAA this season.

Bo Taylor continued his consistent indoor season in the shot as he placed second with a throw of 59-8.50. That mark was an NCAA provisional qualifier, but he has a better throw of 59-9.50 already this season.

Also on Saturday in Lincoln, Jonathan Clark finished third in the triple jump with a mark of 50-2.50. In the 3000m, Alex Crabill was fourth (8:20.04) and Jake Matthews was sixth (8:27.30). Cory Primm finished eighth in the 800m, running 1:54.84. In the mile, Laef Barnes was fourth (4:09.16) and Marco Anzures placed ninth (4:12.63). Taylor Hobson was fourth in the high jump with a clearance of 6-8.75.
