The No. 1 ranked UCLA women's golf team finished round one of the Pac-10 Championship in 3rd place after shooting a team score of 284 (-4). Individually, sophomore Tiffany Lua took the first round lead by shooting a 68 (-4).
The Bruins find themselves two strokes behind co-leaders Stanford and USC, who each shot a 282 (-6). Oregon and Arizona tied for 4th place after shooting first round scores of 290 (+2).
Individually, Lua holds a one stroke lead over three other competitors while junior Stephanie Kono is three strokes back in 8th place after shooting a first round score of 71 (-1). Senior Glory Yang shot a 72 (E) to end the day in a tie for 11th place while sophomore Lee Lopez shot a 73 (+1) to finish the day tied for 19th. Finally, freshman Ani Gulugian posted a 74 (+2) to end round one tied for 23rd place.
