
UCLA Finishes Fourth in Pac-12 Men's Championship

The second-ranked UCLA men's golf team finished fourth at the Pac-12 Championship Sunday, hosted by Oregon State at the Trysting Tree Golf Club in Corvallis, Ore.
The Bruins posted a 72-hole team total of 1,433 (-7) after carding an 18-hole score of 363 (+3) on Sunday. California and Oregon tied for first place at 1428 (-12) after 72 holes, and Cal won on the second playoff hole. USC captured third place at 1432 (-8).
Individually for the Bruins, sophomore Patrick Cantlay posted a 70 (-2) in the final round and tied for fifth place at 280 (-8). Junior Pedro Figueiredo also carded a 70 (-2) and placed seventh at 281 (-7). Tied for 13th was sophomore Anton Arboleda at 287 (-1) after posting a 75 (+3). Freshman Jay Hwang tied for 30th at 294 (+6) following a 77 (+5) on Sunday. Senior Alex Shi Yup Kim also carded a 77 (+5) in the final round and tied for 37th at 297 (+9). Finally, junior Potnus Widegren placed 42nd at 299 (+1) following his best score of the week, a 71 (-1).
Stanford's Andrew Yun won Pac-12 individual medalist honors with a final round 68 (-4) for a four-round total of 275 (-13).
