The 2013 season begins Monday for the UCLA women's golf team at the Northrup Grumman Regional Challenge at the Palos Verdes Golf Club.

Hall of Fame Head Coach Carrie Forsyth welcomes the return of four All-Americans, including senior Tiffany Lua, who was sidelined last Fall with an injury. Lua joins senior Lee Lopez, junior Ani Gulugian, sophomore Erynne Lee and freshman Louise Ridderstrom. All but Ridderstrom earned All-America honors last season.

In the Fall, the Bruins played mostly with just four players because of Lua's injury. They recorded four Top 10 finishes, ending the term ranked 37th by GolfStat. Lua's return this Winter will strengthen their fortunes.

Since 1996, the Bruins have won this tournament three times, including last year. UCLA's only individual winner was Charlotte Mayorkas in 2004.

Competition will commence over three days, with team and individual winners being crowned on Wednesday.
