
Bruins Finish Eighth at ASU Invitational

The sixth-ranked UCLA women's golf team finished eighth at the ASU Invitational Sunday on the Karsten Golf Course in Tempe, AZ.
The Bruins posted a final round score of three-under par 285 and completed 54 holes with a team total of 866 (+2). Alabama won the event with a three-round team score of 845 (-19), followed by Duke at 854 (-10). Arizona and Stanford tied for third place at 862 (-2), and USC and Arizona State tied for fifth at 863 (-1).
Individually for the Bruins, sophomore All-American Erynne Lee jumped 14 spots up the leader board Sunday with a final round score of 66 (-6). She finished with a 54-hole total of 209 (-7), two shots off the lead.
Senior Tiffany Lua and junior Ani Gulugian tied for 17th place at one-under par 215. Gulugian posted a score of 71 (-1) on Sunday and Lua carded a 72 (E).
Freshman Louise Ridderstrom tied for 66th at 229 (+13) following her final round of 76 (+4) and senior Lee Lopez tied for 69th at 231 (+15) after her round of 77 (+5).
Alabama's Emma Talley captured medalist honors with a nine-under par score of 207 and posted a final round score of 70 (-2).
