Cosby enters her first season as a volunteer coach with the men's team where she will help with weight training and the decathlon throwing events.

While competing for UCLA, Cosby was a six-time All-American, ending her career with third-place finishes in the shot put and hammer at the NCAA Outdoor Championships in 2005. Cosby won the NCAA Outdoor shot put title in 2002 and was a four-time Pac-10 and two-time West Region Champion.
