No. 6 UCLA Rowing Moves to NCAA Championship Petite Finals

Saturday's Rowing Results 
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The No. 6 UCLA women's rowing team advanced its varsity eight and second varsity eight to Petite Finals at NCAA Championships on Saturday morning.
The Bruins' varsity four race was postponed until Sunday morning due to inclement weather at Eagle Creek Park in Indianapolis.
UCLA's varsity eight crew finished fourth in the first of two A/B semifinal heats on Saturday morning, posting a time of 7:16.059, edging both Brown and Stanford by less than one second. Virginia, USC and California rounded out the top three finishers in the heat.
The second varsity eight finished fifth in the first of two A/B semifinal heats, crossing the finish line in 7:03.379. The top four finishers in that heat - Brown, California, Princeton and Virginia, respectively - all finished within one second of each other. Notre Dame rounded out the group of six.
UCLA was scheduled to race its varsity four crew in one of two C/D semifinals, but both heats were postponed until Sunday. The varsity four C/D semifinal races will take place at 8:10 a.m. and 8:15 a.m. on Sunday (all times Eastern).
The Bruins' varsity eight crews will conclude their competition at NCAA Championships racing in Petite Finals on Sunday. The V8+ boat will race at 10 a.m., while UCLA's 2V8+ crew will compete at 9:40 a.m. The V4+ crew will race in its final heat at either 10:40 a.m. or 10:50 a.m. (ET).
The NCAA Division I Championships award ceremony is scheduled for 11:45 a.m.
