
Golfers Tie for Fourth in Las Vegas

The Bruins posted their third consecutive team score of 299 (+11) and finished with a 54-hole total of 897 (+33) to tie for fourth with top-ranked Alabama. Host UNLV won the event with a score of 886 (+22), followed by Stanford and Oklahoma State in a tie for second at 888 (+24).
Individually for the Bruins, sophomore Jonathan Garrick was the team's highest finisher, tying for second place at 219 (+3) after a final round score of 74 (+2). Junior Matt Pinizzotto tied for 26th at 226 (+10), and he also posted a third round score of 74 (+2). Sophomore Lorens Chan tied for 42nd at 229 (+13) after carding a 78 (+6). Tied for 50th at 231 (+15) was junior Jay Hwang, who recorded the team's best score of the day, a one-over par 73. Senior Anton Arboleda tied for 53rd at 232 (+16).
Stanford's Patrick Rodgers won the event with a three-round total of 217 (+1), despite posting a 74 (+2) in the final round.
