
Golfers Finish Second in South Carolina

The Bruins posted a four-under par score of 284 in the final round, but Arkansas fired a nine-under score of 279 to beat the Bruins by seven shots. The Razorbacks completed 54 holes of stroke play in 18-under par 846, and the Bruins finished at 853 (-11). Duke was third at 856 (-8), followed by Virginia and Mississippi State at 861 (-3). The Rebels fired a final round 280 (-8).
Individually for the Bruins, sophomores Bronte Law and Alison Lee combined to go 20-under par. Law and Lee tied for second place at 206 (-10). Lee fired a final round 69 (-3) and Law posted a two-under par 70. Between them, they made eight birdies on Tuesday.
Senior Erynne Lee posted a 71 (-1) in the final round and finished in a tie for 42nd at 222 (+6). Junior Louise Ridderstrom tied for 33rd at 220 (+4) after carding a 74 (+2) on Tuesday, and freshman Erin Choi tied for 71st following a final round score of 76 (+4).
Duke's Sandy Choi won the tournament with a three-round total of 205 (-11) following a round of 68 (-4) on Tuesday.
