The Bruins, who beat San Diego State, 4-0 on Saturday, took the doubles point to begin Sunday's match following victories at court Nos. 1 and 3. After Gage Brymer and Austin Rapp took care of business at the No. 3 spot, 11th-ranked Mackenzie McDonald and Martin Redlicki clinched the point with a 6-4 victory over Thomas Hunt and Arthur Weber.

With McDonald and Dennis Mkrtchian both sitting out of singles play, Redlicki made his first-ever appearance at the No. 1 singles spot, winning in straight sets over Weber, 7-5, 6-2. Playing next door at court No. 2, Brymer notched the clinching win for the Bruins as he dispatched of Hunt, 6-2, 6-3.
Other singles winners for UCLA on the day were Kaure Sell (court No. 3), Rapp (court No. 5) and Ryoto Tachi (court No. 6).
UCLA head coach Billy Martin's son, Wil, is a senior on the Saint Mary's team and played at No. 2 doubles and No. 3 singles for the Gaels on Sunday.
