Rowing Finishes Sixth at Pac-12's

California won the conference women's rowing crown, finishing ahead of Washington, Washington State, Stanford, USC, UCLA and Oregon State, respectively.
The Bruins raced to a sixth-place finish in the third varsity eight, varsity four and varsity eight. UCLA's second varsity eight posted a seventh-place finish.
UCLA's varsity eight posted a time of 6 minutes, 53.40 seconds, trailing fifth-place finisher USC by 4.6 seconds. The Bruins crossed the finish line ahead of Oregon State (6:56.30). California won the V8+ race, finishing ahead of Stanford, Washington and Washington State, respectively.
The Bruins second varsity eight registered a time of 7:09.20. Washington finished first in the 2V8+ race, crossing the finish line ahead of California, Washington State, Stanford, USC and Oregon State, respectively.
UCLA's third varsity eight crew posted a time of 7:12.70, just 0.4 seconds behind fifth-place competitor USC. In fact, the final four finishers in the 3V8+ race crossed the finish line within 2.40 seconds of each other. Washington won the race with a time of 6:47.70, ahead of California, Washington State and Oregon State, respectively. UCLA finished ahead of Stanford.
The Bruins' varsity four registered a time of 7:51.70, nearly 20 seconds ahead of Oregon State. Washington won the V4+ race with a time of 7:30.20, crossing the finish line ahead of Washington State, California, USC, Stanford, UCLA and Oregon State, respectively.
