LOS ANGELES โ The UCLA women's basketball team will look to protect its 12-game winning streak against No. 17 Utah when the Bruins face the Utes on Sunday at noon (MT) in Salt Lake City. The Bruins are riding a five-game winning streak.

UCLA has dominated of late, boasting a 12-game winning streak, which began in 2009 with a 69-33 triumph in San Diego. The Bruins haven't lost to the Utes since Dec. 1, 2001 - an 89-42 setback in Salt Lake City. UCLA swept Utah last season. In the last road meeting against the Utes, Michaela Onyenwere notched her first career double-double - a 20-point, 11-rebound effort to lead the Bruins to an 81-74 triumph. UCLA needed overtime to top Utah at Pauley Pavilion last season, getting 22 points and 14 assists from Jordin Canada to earn a 78-71 win.

Michaela Onyenwere is enjoying an explosive sophomore campaign, having posted 10 20-plus point games and nine double-doubles. She has scored in double figures in each of the last 11 games and has eclipsed the 25-point mark six times, including a career-high-tying 29 points at No. 18/19 Cal. In Pac-12 play, Onyenwere is averaging 20.0 points and 9.0 rebounds per game. Onyenwere has made 14 3-pointers this season, all of which have come in Pac-12 play (only had one last year).
