No. 10 UCLA Faces CSU Bakersfield for Teddy Bear Toss Game Saturday

LOS ANGELES – The UCLA women's basketball team (10-1, 1-0 Pac-12) will host CSU Bakersfield (2-4, 0-0 Big West) on Saturday, Dec. 17 in Pauley Pavilion presented by Wescom. Tipoff is set for 2 p.m. PST, and the game will be broadcast on UCLA's Pac-12 live stream with Dave Marcus on play-by-play.
Saturday's matchup will be a Teddy Bear Toss game, in which fans are encouraged to bring in a brand-new stuffed toy to throw onto the court at halftime. All stuffed animals will be collected and donated to children in need. There will be a competition to get closest to a mark on the court in the toss, and fans must "tag" their toys at the marketing table located on the North Concourse before halftime in order to be considered prize-eligible.
The first 750 fans in attendance will also receive a UCLA stuffed bear key chain.

• UCLA has made 154 free throws through 11 games (4th - Pac-12), shooting 74.8% on the year (3rd - Pac-12, 154-206 FT). The Bruins rank 1st in offensive rebounds per game in the Pac-12 (17.4 ORPG, T-7th - NCAA). UCLA is 2nd in the Pac-12, 12th in the nation in total rebounding (45.9 RPG).
• The Bruins, averaging 8.3 steals per game, have swiped at least seven steals in each of their 10 victories this season.
• Charisma Osborne has scored a conference-high 211 points (1st - Pac-12, 17th - NCAA) through 10 games, averaging 19.2 ppg (4th - Pac-12, 32nd - NCAA). She has the second-most field goals made (74 FGM) on the second-most field goal attempts (170 FGA) in the Pac-12. • Redshirt-sophomore Emily Bessoir continues to be a key contributor in the frontcourt for the Bruins as a versatile stretch big. Bessoir led the team in scoring for the second time against USC on Dec. 15, matching her career high 16 points (7-13 FG) in the victory. The German forward ranks third on the team in points (9.1 ppg) and second in rebounds (5.3 RPG) in 24.8 minutes per game. Bessoir has knocked down 15 three-pointers out of her 41 attempts (.366 3FG%).
• UCLA has made it back into the top 10 of the AP Poll for the first time since March 15, 2021, when the Bruins ranked No. 9 in the final poll.
