Track and Field Completes Pair of Meets at Bryan Clay Invitational

AZUSA, CALIF. - UCLA Track and Field completed a week of two split squad meets after closing out three days of competition at the Bryan Clay Invitational on Saturday, April 13th.
Hosted by Azusa Pacific University at Azusa Pacific Stadium in Azusa, Calif. from Thursday, April 11, to Saturday, April 13th, the Bruins secured an event victory in the women's heptathlon and a top-10 finish in the men's 5000m race.
Junior Sydney Johnson scored 5514 points in the women's heptathlon to finish at the top of the podium in Section B of the event, while senior Michael Mireles ran a 13:49.30 to place sixth overall in the men's 5000m.
