Track & Field Heads Across Town for Annual USC Dual Meet

The UCLA track & field squad will hold its final full-team meet of the regular season this weekend, heading to downtown Los Angeles for the annual dual meet against crosstown rival USC.
The two-day meet will run on Saturday, May 2 and Sunday, May 3.
Saturday's schedule includes a handful of field events, all being held off-site at the Colich Throws Center in Wilmington, Calif. Events begin with the hammer at noon, followed by the discus at 1 p.m.ย
The bulk of the meet will on Sunday, with the remainder of events being held at USC's Allyson Felix Field. Events start at 11 a.m. PT that morning, and are expected to run past 3 p.m. PT.ย
The Bruins are looking for a repeat of last year's dual meet feats, as UCLA swept both ends of the annual showdown at Drake Stadium. It was the first sweep for the Bruins in the series since 2013. Jeremy Zammit (UCLA Student-Athlete of the Week) and Naomi Johnson (Big Ten Women's Track Athlete of the Week) both picked up recognition after the win against the Trojans.
