Jenny Lee Named B1G Golfer of the Week

ROSEMONT, Ill. – Sophomore Jenny Lee was named the Big Ten Women's Golfer of the Week, the conference office announced Thursday afternoon. The award marks Lee's first career weekly honor.
Lee, competing in her second tournament as a Bruin, fired a -8, 208 (70-68-70) to secure her first career win at the Windy City Collegiate Classic hosted at Glen View Club in Golf, Ill. on Sept. 29-30. She was one of only six players in the 63-golfer field to card three consecutive rounds under par.
Lee dominated on the course's longest offerings, playing the par-5s at a tournament-best -8. She was exceptional on the back nine for the entire tournament, shooting -9 with one eagle, seven birdies and no bogeys.
Lee entered the Windy City Collegiate Classic with no top-20 finishes and a low 18-hole score of 70 after her freshman season at Baylor in 2024-25. Her finish helped UCLA tie for fourth (-5, 859) in the 11-team field.
Lee and the Bruins are back in action in roughly two weeks to compete at the highly-competitive Stanford Intercollegiate on Oct. 17-19.
