Midfielder Oruha Hayashi and forward Jordan Geis were named to the 2025 Academic All-District® Women's Soccer Team, selected by College Sports Communicators. The award recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. Both Hayashi and Geis are first-time award winners.

Hayashi, a junior transfer from Iowa Western and Toyooka, Japan, played in 20 games with 15 starts this season. The sociology major ranked second on the team with five assists and third in scoring with seven points. At Iowa Western, she was the 2024-25 NJCAA Female Student-Athlete of the Year and a two-time NJCAA All-Academic honoree.

Geis, a sophomore from San Jose, Calif. majoring in business-economics, played in 19 games and made six starts. She scored the game-winning goal in a come-from-behind victory over Penn State in the Big Ten Tournament quarterfinals, her second career-game-winner.
