
League-High Eight Bruins Earn MPSF All-Academic Honors

LOS ANGELES โ A league-high eightย members of the UCLA beach volleyball team were named to the inaugural MPSF All-Academic Team, the conference announced Monday.
Redshirt freshmen Harper Cooper and Kaley Mathews, redshirt sophomores Ensley Alden and Kenzie Brower, junior Maggie Boyd, seniors Natalie Myszkowski, and Jessie Smith, and graduate Peri Brennan were all named to the MPSF All-Academic Team.
Alden, a microbiology, immunology, and molecular genetics major, went 21-11 this season.
Boyd, a psychology major, went 32-4 on the year. She was a First-Team All-American in 2025, and wasย an AVCA Top Fligh Award winner. Additionally sheย was named to the MPSF All-Tournament Team, the MPSF Player of the Year, and paired with freshman Sally Perez to become the MPSF Pair of the Year. A First-Team All-MPSF selection, sheย also wonย the AVCA Fall Pairs National Championship with Perez and both were named the UCLA Student-Athletes of the Week (Nov. 20, 2024). She garnered MPSF Pair of the Week honors with Perez twice on the year (March 11 and April 15) and was named the AVCA/CBVB National Pair of the Week (March 10).
Brennan, a sociology major, was 30-7 this season. She was named a Second-Team All-American in 2025 and was an AVCA Top Flight Award winner. She was also named First-Team All-MPSF and partnered with Myszkowski to be named the MPSF Pair of the Week three times (Feb. 25, March 18, and April 22).
Brower, a psychobiology major, went 26-11 on the year. She partnered with Jessie Smith on court three, going undefeated at the NCAA Championship, and the duo was the only Bruin pair to be named to the NCAA All-Tournament Team.
Cooper, a financial actuarial major, was 22-9 this season.
Mathews, an environmental science major, went 18-10 on the year.
Myszkowski, a sociology major, was 30-7 in 2025 and was named a Second-Team All-American and partnered with Brennan to become an AVCA Top Flight Award winner as well as the three-time MPSF Pair of the Week. Myszkowski was also named Second-Team All-MPSF.
Smith, a communication major, was 17-4 on the year and partnered with Brower to go undefeated (3-0) at the NCAA Championship, earning NCAA All-Tournament Team accolades.
