Men's Soccer Announces 2025 Schedule

LOS ANGELES – The UCLA men's soccer program on Tuesday officially announced its schedule for the upcoming 2025 season. The Bruins will open the season with a home exhibition against Cal State Bakersfield (Aug. 8), before starting the regular season with a match at UC Irvine on Thursday, August 21.
UCLA's regular-season home opener against Cal is set for Sunday, August 24. The Bruins' first match against Big Ten competition will be on Friday, September 12, when UCLA hosts Northwestern.
Other non-league matches include Cal State Fullerton (Aug. 28), at Kentucky (Sept. 1), at Loyola Marymount (Sept. 7), and at Omaha (Nov. 1).
Including the Bruins' Big Ten matchup with Northwestern, UCLA will play 10 league matches, five at home and five on the road. UCLA will take on Wisconsin (Sept. 19), Maryland (Oct. 3), Penn State (Oct. 10) and Rutgers (Oct. 24) at home, and will play Indiana (Sept. 26), Ohio State (Sept. 29), Michigan (Oct. 17), Michigan State (Oct. 20), and Washington (Nov.7) on the road.
UCLA is coming off its first season in the Big Ten, where the Bruins went 7-6-6 and made the NCAA Tournament for the fourth year in a row under head coach Ryan Jorden.
