Chiles Selected UCLA Student-Athlete of the Week Presented by La Victoria

LOS ANGELES – Senior Jordan Chiles of UCLA Gymnastics has been selected the Student-Athlete of the Week presented by La Victoria for athletic competitions held between Jan. 6-12.
Chiles posted the conference's top all-around score for the week, scoring 39.575 to place second at the Sprouts Farmers Market Collegiate Quad. Chiles tied for first on floor exercise with a 9.925 to capture her sixth individual title of the season after just two meets. She also scored UCLA's top marks on vault and uneven bars with 9.900s and added a 9.850 on beam. Chiles has scored 9.900 or higher on seven of eight routines this year and remains ranked No. 1 in the nation in the all-around with an average of 39.650. She is also ranked in the Top 10 on floor (6th) and vault (10th).
The gymnast secures her ninth-career UCLA student-athlete of the week award.
