Manoa, Hawai'i – The UCLA men's volleyball team earned a 3-0 sweep of No. 14 Lewis University and improved to 17-0 on the year.

With the win the Bruins moved to 17-0 and moved to 1-0 in the 2026 OUTRIGGER Invitational.

Cameron Thorne led the Bruins in kills with 10, while Sean Kelly and David Decker added nine kills each. Senior setter Andrew Rowan compiled 35 assists as the Bruins hit .364 as a team on the night.

Defensively, Kelly led the team with 10 digs, while Rowan and Decker added four service aces.

In the opening set a Kelly service ace made it 5-5 in the first set. Another David Decker ace pushed the Bruins in front 14-11, before a Kelly kill made it 15-13.

Later on in the set, a block from Wong Diallo and Decker pushed the Bruins in front, 21-19. A Decker kill made it 24-21 UCLA, before a kill from Kelly gave the Bruins the first set, 25-22.

With a 1-0 set lead the Bruins opened the second set up 3-0 after another service ace from Decker. Lewis battled back and tied the set at 13-13 before taking a 22-20 advantage late on in the set.

UCLA never wavered and back-to-back kills from Thorne tied the set at 23-23. UCLA then closed out the set two points later after an attack error from Lewis and a kill from Kelly gave UCLA a 2-0 sets lead, and the second set 25-23.

In the third set, a kill from Decker tied the set at 10-10. Kills from Decker and Rowan made it 17-15 Bruins in the set.

Back-to-back aces from Rowan pushed UCLA in front, 21-16. UCLA then closed out the match with a kill from Wong Diallo to take the set 25-19, and the match 3-0.

Up Next: UCLA is back in action on Saturday when the Bruins take on No. 3 Hawai'i. First serve is set for 7 pm HT (10 pm PT) and the match will be broadcast on ESPN+.
