UCLA Women's Soccer Announces 2026 Schedule
June 22, 2026 | Women's Soccer
UCLA women's soccer will kick off the 2026 season on Aug. 12 with a rematch with 2025 NCAA Tournament opponent BYU at Wallis Annenberg Stadium, the first of three home matches to start the year. The Bruins will also host Duke on Aug. 16 and San Diego on Aug. 20.
The Bruins, under first-year head coach Gof Boyoko, will play nine teams that competed in the 2025 NCAA Tournament – BYU, Duke, Stanford, Pepperdine, Michigan State, Ohio State, Illinois, Washington and Iowa. Big Ten Conference play will begin on Sept. 10 with a home match against Purdue and conclude, as tradition, against crosstown rival USC, on the road on Oct. 30.
In 2025, the Bruins posted a 12-5-4 record, advancing to the second round of the NCAA Tournament. UCLA returns 14 players from that squad, including all-conference selections Kara Croone and Paloma Daubert and Big Ten All-Freshman honorees Daphne Nakfoor and Grace Shank, along with 2024 Big Ten Freshman of the Year Nicki Fraser.
Boyoko signed a strong incoming class, highlighted by U-17 National Team players from four different countries – Mia Corona (U.S.), Bela Araujo (Brazil), Anaiya Miyazato (Mexico) and Molly Hale (Canada) – and U.S. U-16 National Team player Thea Perry. The Bruins also reloaded via the transfer portal, bringing in experienced players in Marli Galdamez and Cate Sarinopoulos from TCU, Ava Priest from Colorado, Lynette Bryant from BYU, Abby Gemma from Florida and Olivia Woodson from Auburn.
Tickets for the 2026 soccer season will go on sale later this summer at uclabruins.com/tickets.
