Bruins Take 10-match Winning Streak to MPSF Semifinals

The seventh-seeded UCLA men's volleyball team, winners of t0 straight matches, meets third-seeded Pepperdine in the first match of the MPSF Semifinals, Thurs., Apr. 27 at 5 p.m. Top-seeded and No.1 ranked UC Irvine will host fourth-seeded Long Beach State at 7 p.m. All matches will be played at UC Irvine's Bren Center.
Thursday's winners will meet in the MPSF Championship on Sat., Apr. 29 at 7 p.m. in the Bren Center. Saturday's winner receives an automatic berth into the 2006 NCAA Men's Volleyball Championship, May 4 & 6 at Penn State.
Thursday's semifinal match between the Bruins (22-12) and Pepperdine (17-7) will be broadcast live on the internet at www.uclabruins.com.
Five hundred tickets for the MPSF Tournament will be allocated in a special section for UCLA fans. For information call the UC Irvine ticket office at 949-824-5000.
