Fernando Monge Named To PDL Team Of The Week

UCLA junior forward Fernando Monge was named to the USL Premier Development League Team of the Week after a two-goal performance in the Orange County Blue Star's 4-1 victory over the Southern California Seahorses. The win was the Blue Star's fifth consecutive, improving their record to 7-3-1.
Monge scored the first two goals of the game in the victory. His Bruin teammate Chandler Hoffman assisted him on both goals. Monge is second on the team in scoring behind league-leader Hoffman with 18 points (7g, 4a), which ranks 10th in the PDL. He also ranks 10th in goals scored.
Orange County will next play at Fresno on Friday, July 1 before hosting the Los Angeles Legends on Sunday, July 3.
