Junior Onnie Willis (Tacoma, WA/Wilson HS) of the UCLA Gymnastics Team was selected as the UCLABruins.com Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of Mar. 18-25.
Willis led the Bruins to their 10th Pac-10 title and third in the last four years, as the team hit 24-for-24 routines over the course of the evening. Willis won the all-around with a 39.625, becoming UCLA's sixth consecutive Pac-10 all-around champion. The team co-captain also tied for first on the uneven bars with a season-high 9.95, placed second on vault with a 9.95 and tied for third on floor with a 9.925.
This is Willis' first UCLABruins.com Student-Athlete of the Week honor of the season and the third of her career.
