Game Notes
UCLA at Oregon
Oct. 22, 2022

 –  UCLA returns home next Saturday (10/29) to host Stanford in Rose Bowl Stadium at 7:30 p.m. The Bruins have won their last seven straight home games over the past two seasons. It is UCLA’s longest home win streak since it won 10 straight home contests over the 2005 and 2006 seasons.

– Jake Bobo made 8 catches for 101 yards and a 22-yard touchdown at Oregon. This was Bobo’s second 100-yard game of the 2022 season (142 yards vs. Washington). Over the past five games, Bobo has made 26 receptions for 407 yards for six TDs. Bobo has caught at least three passes in each game during the 2022 season.

– Mo Osling tied his career-high for tackles for a game in the first half with 12 against Oregon (12 for the game vs. USC, 2020). He finished with a new career-best of 17 tackles at Oregon, the most by a Bruin defender since linebacker Jayon Brown was credited with 18 in a 2015 game against Colorado.

– Dorian Thompson-Robinson made his 42nd career start at Oregon; he is second on the all-time school QB games started list to Cade McNown (1995-98) who had 44. Thompson-Robinson generated 300 yards of total offense against the Ducks (262 pass, 38 rush).

– Safety Stephan Blaylock has started the last 38 straight games; the UCLA school record is 46 straight games started by OL Craig Novitsky (1990-93).

– With his three field goals at Oregon, Nicholas Barr-Mira (47, 44, 33 yards) has upped his career field goal total to 31 which is tied for 10th on the all-time school list. Also tenth on that list is Peter Boermeester (1977-79) with 31. The three field goals is one shy of his career-best for a game of four which he made earlier this season against South Alabama.

– Dorian Thompson-Robinson passed for two touchdowns at Oregon to bring his career total touchdowns (passing, running, receiving) mark to 98. Brett Hundley (2011-14) is the all-time school leader with 106.

– Zach Charbonnet recorded his 12th 100-yard rushing game as a Bruin at Oregon. It was Charbonnet’s third straight 100-yard rushing game (198 vs. Utah, 124 vs. Washington). His 12 100-yard career rushing games ties him for seventh on the all-time school list with Wendell Tyler (1973-76). UCLA is now 11-1 in those 100-yard rushing games by Charbonnet. His fourth-quarter touchdown run marked the fourth straight game this season in which Charbonnet has run for at least one score.

– Oregon’s 28-point second quarter is the most points given up by a Bruin team in a quarter since Washington State scored 28 in a 2019 contest in Pullman, Wash.
