Postgame Notes
UCLA vs. Indiana
Sept. 14, 2024

- QB Ethan Garbers had a 20-yard run to set up a UCLA touchdown late in the second half. The 20-yard scamper matched his career-long for a rush (2023 vs. Boise State in the LA Bowl).

- RB T.J. Harden punched it in from one yard out to get the Bruins on the board just before the halftime break. It was his first rushing touchdown of the season, and 11th of his career.

- Harden recorded a 24-yard catch-and-run early in the third quarter, just one yard short of matching his career-long for a reception.

- Players to make their debuts in a Bruin uniform included RB Jalen Berger, DL Cherif Seye, and DL Drew Tuazama.

- Players to make their season debuts included the above as well as DL Grant Buckey, TE Michael Churich, DB Jadyn Marshall, and QB Justyn Martin.

- LB Kain Medrano had a team and career-high 3.0 tackles for loss, marking his first multi-TFL game of the season and third of his career.

- Seven different Bruins recorded at least one reception against Indiana. Eight UCLA players notched a reception in the season-opener at Hawai’i.

- LB Kain Medrano paced the Bruins with nine total tackles, including eight solo tackles. Those nine tackles for Medrano are tied for the second most he has had in a single game at UCLA.
