Ran two indoor mile events, posting a season-best 4:07.01 at the Ken Shannon Last Chance meet… Ran a team-best 14:17.38 in the outdoor 5000m race at the Bryan Clay Invitational in mid-April… Also ran a team-best 8:38.68 in the outdoor 3000m event against the Trojans during the USC Dual Meet… Placed seventh at the Pac-12 Championships in the 3000m steeplechase, completing the race in 9:05.74.

Appeared in five races for the Bruins, scoring in three of those meets… Ran a season-best 24:27.6 at the Bill Dellinger Invite; the Bruins placed third as a team in the 8000m meet… Scored for UCLA at the NCAA West Regional Championships, completing his 10k in 30:16.0 (87th in the west).
