High School -- Two-year varsity letterman at Mira Costa High for legendary coach Mike Ninnis … Played setter, libero and opposite and served as captain in 2013 … In 2013, he earned AVCA First-Team High School All-America honors, as well as First-Team All-Bay League acclaim … Was also an all-tournament team selection at the Santa Barbara and Best of the West tournaments … Led the Mustangs to the 2013 Bay League title and first place finishes at the Redondo Varsity Classic and Santa Barbara Tournament … Recorded 22 aces, 119 kills, 921 set assists and 78 digs as a senior … Led the Mustangs to the 2012 Division II state championship and a CIF regional title … MICO was the No.2 ranked boys volleyball team in the nation that season.

Club -- Played for the Southern California Volleyball Club, which won 2012 and 2013 Boys Classic championships and gold medals at the 2013 and 2009 Jr. Nationals … Also won beach championships at the Cal Cup in 2009 and 2011 … Was a member of the 2011 USA Volleyball High Performance Youth Camp team.
