Marlie Monserez ended the season with an overall record of 27-5 (48-17 career) … partnered with Jaden Whitmarsh for most of the early season going 11-3 (2-1 on court four, 9-2 on court five, and 3-0 in exhibition play on court six) and ended the year with Jessie Smith, going 15-2 (12-2 on court four and 3-0 on court five) … also went 1-0 with Maggie Boyd on court two, and 1-0 in exhibition play with Kelli Greene-Agnew on court six … the Bruins faced 32 ranked opponents in the 44 duals on the year with Monserez going 22-5 against ranked teams (one match was truncated at the March to May Tournament) … recorded a season-best winning streak of 10 consecutive duals (two with Whitmarsh and eight with Smith) which began with No. 11 Georgia State (Apr. 1) and ended vs. No. 8 Stanford (Apr. 27) … Monserez clinched seven victories in dual matches on the year for the Bruins with the biggest coming in a 4-1 victory over No. 5 LSU (Mar. 31) … Monserez also went 7-2 in postseason play (3-1 at NCAAs, 4-1 at Pac-12s) with one match being truncated at the Pac-12 Championship … Monserez went 24-3 in two-set matches and 3-2 in three-set matches on the year.
2022
Ended the season with an overall record of 21-12 … began the season with Pani Napoleon going 0-1 on court five and then went 10-6 with Jessie Smith (3-0 on court four and 7-6 on court five) … also went 1-0 with Jaden Whitmarsh on court four and ended the year with Rileigh Powers, going 10-5 (2-5 on court four and 8-0 on court five) … the Bruins faced 34 ranked opponents in the 43 duals on the year with Monserez going 15-12 against ranked teams (one match was truncated at the March to May event, two more at the Pac-12 Championship, and two more at the NCAA Championship) … recorded a season-best winning streak of 11 consecutive duals (first one with Smith and then 10 with Powers) which began with No. 12 California (Apr. 9) and ended vs. No. 1 USC (Apr. 22) … Monserez also clinched six victories in dual matches on the year for the Bruins (two with Smith and four with Powers) with the biggest coming in a 4-1 home victory over No. 4 LMU (Apr. 20) … Monserez and Powers went 1-5 in postseason play (0-3 at NCAAs, 1-2 at Pac-12s) … Monserez went 15-7 in two-set matches and 6-5 in three-set matches on the year.

Monserez started all 31 matches at setter during her senior campaign, leading the Gators to the NCAA Regional Semifinals … finished second in the SEC and 11th nationally in assists per set (11.2) … recorded 11 double-doubles on the year, good for second on the team … posted over 40 assists in 11 matches on the year … finished first on the team in assists (1182), second in digs (277), third in service aces (23), fourth in blocks (60.0) and sixth in kills (96) … recorded a career-high 23 digs against LSU (Oct. 10) … her 42 assists against both Ole Miss (Oct. 2) and South Carolina (Nov. 21) were the third-highest total in a three-set match on the year in the SEC … dished out 56 assists against Minnesota (Sept. 5), the second-highest total in a four-set match by an SEC setter on the season … finished her career in the Orange & Blue fifth in program history with 3,680 assists … was only the second setter in the rally-scoring era to record at least 3,500 assists for the Gators (Angie McGinnis – 2004-07).

Monserez started in 24 of 25 matches at setter during her junior season … registered a career-best performance against Ohio State (Apr. 18) with eight kills and 13.5 points … notched a career-high 22 digs against Wisconsin (Apr. 19) … registered 9.0 blocks versus Alabama (Oct. 31) setting a new career-high … finished the season with 10 double-doubles, the third-highest total in the conference … finished the season ranked third in the SEC in assists per set (10.31) … led the squad to a .300 clip or better in 10 matches during the regular season, including a .513 performance against Missouri … her 56 assists against Missouri was the fourth-highest total in the SEC on the season … was first on the team in assists (866), third in digs (231) and service aces (20), fourth in blocks (50.0) and sixth in points (120.5) and kills (74) … recorded at least 30 assists in 18 of the 25 matches on the year … registered a career-high eight kills in a four-set match against Ohio State and just missed a triple-double (35 assists, 15 digs) … tallied a career-best 20 digs in a five-set win against Missouri.

Monserez saw action in all 117 sets for the Gators, starting all 32 matches at setter during her sophomore season … recorded a career-high 63 assists against Ole Miss (Nov. 8) … registered 50+ assists in four matches on the year and 40+ in 15 matches … notched a career-high 18 digs in a four-set battle with Tennessee (Oct. 27) … posted 11 double-doubles over the course of the season … finished the season first on the team in assists (1,205), third in digs (271), fifth in blocks (54), T-fifth in service aces (16) and sixth in kills (81) … averaged 10.30 assists per set, good for fourth in the SEC.
