PEPPERDINE - 2013 (Indoor)
Chandler appeared in eight matches and 29 sets at libero for Pepperdine in 2013 ... recorded 105 digs (3.62 per set), 28 assists and nine service aces ... seven of her eight contests featured double figures in digs, including a season-best 21 against Delaware on Aug. 30 ... also had a quartet of 14-dig matches, one 13-dig effort and a 10-dig performance ... notched aces in five contests, posting three versus Colorado State (Sept. 7) and two in a pair of matches.
TORREY PINES HIGH SCHOOL
Chandler earned three letters at Torrey Pines High School in San Diego, Calif., playing outside hitter and setter ... named 2012 MaxPreps Third Team All-American and MaxPreps California All-State Division I First Team ... was a Second Team All-Palomar League selection in 2011 ... named All-Tournament at the 2012 Durango Fall Classic and the 2010 Santa Barbara Tournament of Champions ... coached by Jim Harrah and Brennan Dean ... plays club with Wave Volleyball under coaches Krystal Jackson, Jeanne Reeves, Jud Buechler and Brent Hilliard ... finished third at the 2013 SCVA Championships ... was ninth at the '13 Junior Olympics and seventh at the 2012 JO's ... Wave was first at 2011 SCVA and won three Junior National qualifiers that season, placing fifth at Nationals.

Born Ryann Mae Chandler on March 9, 1995 in Palm Desert, Calif. ... parents are Diane and Chris, who was a quarterback in the NFL for 17 seasons ... has two younger sisters, Skye and Brynn ... grandfather, John Brodie, was also an NFL quarterback for 17 seasons ... uncle, Larry Stefanki, was a professional tennis player, while uncle, Tim Hanley, played pro soccer as a goalkeeper ... chose to attend UCLA because it has a very reputable volleyball program and it is an amazing academic school ... thing she likes the most about volleyball is that it is very competitive and that every time you step on the court nothing else matters but playing and having fun ... hobbies include swimming ... lists her biggest athletic thrill as playing her first college volleyball match ... favorites include the TV show "True Detective", the band Coldplay, the Golden State Warriors and eating turkey burgers ... majoring in sociology.
