Began the season in stroke seat of the 3V4+, leading the Bruins to victory over rival USC at the annual dual regatta… Moved into two seat of the 1V+ for the San Diego Crew Classic, helping the Bruins to a grand finals appearance and fourth place in the field… Sat bow in the first-place 1V4+ at the USD Dual on April 6… Moved into two seat of the 1V4+ for the Big Ten Invitational… Claimed two seat in the 2V8+ at the UCSD Triton Invitational, where the Bruins finished in first place… Wrapped the season in two seat of the 2V8+ at the Big Ten Championships, helping the Bruin crew to fourth place in the petite final of the conference regatta… Honors: Big Ten Spring Academic Honor Roll, CRCA Scholar-Athlete
2023-24
Rowed in the Bruins’ third varsity eight (3V8+), second varsity four (2V4+) and varsity four (V4+) crews as a sophomore… rowed four seat in UCLA’s 2V4+ crew, clinching two first-place finishes at the Lake Natoma Invitational (April 6)… rowed two seat in the Bruins’ V4+ crew during the Big Ten Invitational where UCLA took second place in a race of five boats (April 20)… also rowed four seat in the V4+ crew at the Dexter Lake Invite, securing another second-place finish in a race of six boats (April 27)… competed in the Pac-12 Championships at Lake Natoma in Sacramento, California, rowing four seat for UCLA’s V4+ crew (May 19).
2022-23
Rowed at five of the Bruins’ spring races during her freshman campaign … rowed two seat in the Bruins’ second varsity four crew (2V4+) in the season-opening dual-meet competition against USC (March 11) … helped UCLA’s 2V4+ crew to a first-place finish over USC at the Port of Los Angeles … rowed five seat in the Bruins’ novice eight crew (N8+) at the two-day San Diego Crew Classic in Mission Bay (April 1-2) … UCLA’s novice eight crew raced to a third-place finish, out of five boats, on back-to-back days at Mission Bay … stroked the Bruins’ varsity four crew (V4+) in a dual-meet regatta against Loyola Marymount in Marina del Rey (April 22) … UCLA’s V4+ crew defeated LMU in a sweep of three total races … stroked the V4+ crew at the Dexter Lake Invitational in Lowell, Ore. (April 29) … rowed four seat in the Bruins’ third varsity eight crew (3V8+) at the Pac-12 Championships on Dexter Lake in Lowell, Ore. (May 14) … the Bruins’ 3V8+ boat finished in fourth place out of seven boats at the conference championships.
High School
Was a four-year varsity swimming letterwinner at Whitney Young Magnet High School in Chicago … competed in the 100 breaststroke, 500 freestyle and 200 medley relay … led her high school swimming and diving program to the Chicago Public Schools Girls City Championship as a freshman (2018) … set the high school record in the 200 medley relay (breaststroke) and the 100 breaststroke … finished in first place in the 100 breaststroke at the IHSA Girls Sectional Championship … became the first IHSA Girls State Championship qualifier from her high school in 12 years.
