From 2014-25, de Serière helped lead UC Irvine to four Big West titles and three NCAA appearances, including back-to-back seasons advancing to the Round of 16 in 2022 and 2023. She coached Glo Hinojosa to All-West Region honors from 2021-23 and to Big West Goalkeeper of the Year acclaim in 2021.
de Serière also has experience coaching the U.S. Youth National Teams, working as the goalkeeper coach for the U-16 team in 2017 and 2018. She also coached the U-15 team in 2018.
A member of UC Irvine’s Athletics Hall of Fame, de Serière is the Anteaters’ all-time leader in wins (43), shutouts (31), and goals-against-average (0.80) and ranks second in goalkeeper saves (271). In 2010, she was named the Big West Goalkeeper of the Year and set the school’s single-season records in wins (19) and shutouts (11). That Anteater squad went 19-3-2 and advanced to the NCAA Round of 16. Following her collegiate career, she played professionally in the Netherlands with FC Twente from 2011-13.
