Hector Tovar serves as the Director, Olympic Sports Equipment Operations. Hector rejoined UCLA in 2017 having previously worked in the Equipment Room from 2004-2007.

From 2010-2015 Tovar worked as the Equipment Manager for Santa Monica College working with Football, Menโs Basketball, Menโs Volleyball and Softball.

In 2015 Tovar joined the United States Soccer Federation serving as the Equipment and Logistics Coordinator for the Menโs Beach Soccer National Team through the 2015-2017 World Cup Qualifying cycle. Aside from the Beach National team he also staffed foreign and domestic Youth National Team camps with the Womenโs U23, U20, U19 National Teams.

Tovar is a certified member of the Athletic Equipment Managers Association.
