Steven Calista is the Assistant Athletics Director, Broadcast Production. He joined UCLA Athletics in 2024 to oversee the department's transition into the Big Ten Network and In-house broadcast infrastructure for linear television, Big Ten Network, and Student U. He also oversees videoboard production and technology.ย

From 2019-2024, Calista worked at UC San Diego as the Associate Athletics Director or Broadcast and Creative Services where he headed all ESPN+ broadcasting, creative video, and social media services. In addition, he led the Tritons through their Division I reclassificationย bringing their broadcast facilities and crew up to Division I standards.

Prior to UC San Diego, Steven began his career at Long Beach State creating their broadcast department called Beach Vision from 2014-2019.ย

Steven graduated from Long Beach State in 2014 with his Bachelor of Arts in Film and Electronic Arts with a specialty in Television Broadcasting.
