PULLMAN, Wash. - With a goal just over one minute into the game, number seven UCLA scored the game-winner to beat the Cougars 1-0 today in Pullman, Wash. The Bruins are tied for second in the conference at 12-1-1 overall and 3-0-1 in the Pac-10 while the Cougars entered the weekend in fifth place with a 10-5-0 overall record, 2-3-0 in the Pac-10.
Tracey Milburn scored the Bruins goal 1:05 into the game on a 10-yard shot from the left side of the box that she finished far side. Milburn entered the week tied for third in the conference in scoring, and the goal was her 12th this season.
UCLA travels next to Seattle for a Sunday showdown with No. 3 Washington. That match begins at Noon.
