Stanford, Calif. - The UCLA doubles team of Megan Bradley and Lauren Fisher won its semifinal match Friday to advance to the finals at the NCAA Championships at Stanford University.

Bradley and Fisher, unseeded in the 32-team doubles draw but ranked No. 5 in the country, defeated Kentucky's Carolina Mayorga/Sarah Witten, 7-6, 6-2. They will take on Stanford's top-seeded Lauren Kalvaria/Gabriela Lastra in Saturday's final.

"We were able to do what we wanted out there and our execution improved once the second set began," said Bradley. "When we are playing at our best, we are a tough team to beat."

If Bradley and Fisher win on Saturday, they will become the first Bruin duo to win the NCAA Doubles Title since Keri Phebus and Susie Starrett did it in 1995.
