Second-seeded Stanford scored three consecutive goals, starting at 1:41 in the third quarter to take its first lead of the match and the 9-7 victory over third-seeded UCLA (19-7).

Brett Ormsby posted a match-high four goals for the Bruins. Tony Azevedo recorded a hat trick for Stanford, to bring his tournament goal count to seven.

The Bruins never trailed until the Cardinal surge in the third quarter. Along with Ormsby, Michael March, Brad Greiner, and Ted Peck scored for UCLA.

Goalkeeper Joseph Axelrad posted nine saves in the contest.

The Cardinal will face-off with top-seeded USC in tomorrow's championship match. UCLA will take on fourth-seeded California in the third-place contest.
